His research interests are mainly in the field of symmetric cryptography, especially in the cryptanalysis techniques and white-box cryptography. He also participates in information security competitions ([https://ctftime.org/ctf-wtf/ CTFs]).

Aleksei Udovenko is a post-doc at LACS/SnT. He received his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Alex Biryukov in April 2019. Previously, he graduated from the ITMO University (Saint Petersburg, Russia) in 2013. His research interests are mainly in the field of symmetric cryptography, especially in the cryptanalysis techniques and white-box cryptography. He also participates in information security competitions (CTFs).

His PhD dissertation is titled Design and Cryptanalysis of Symmetric-Key Algorithms in Black and White-box Models.
